Step back in time at the 21st Amendment Bar. Located just a half a block off of Bourbon Street, 21st Amendment at La Louisiane dates back to 1881. The space originally debuted as La Louisiane Hotel & Restaurant.

Today this French Quarter watering hole pays tribute to the end of prohibition. Guests can join the celebration with hand-crafted cocktails, house-infused liquors and locally grown ingredients. Both the street facing bar space and adjacent dining rooms can used for private events.

Housed in the former Creole restaurant, La Louisiane, 21st Amendment Bar is now a sleek, modern bar with retro stylings reminiscent of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. Guests will be transported back in time, surrounded by images of the country’s most notorious mobsters.

Complimented by the vintage decor, the house menu features a contemporary mix of specialty cocktails, house infusions, and bottled beer. Most noteworthy, privy guests can whisper the speakeasy password to receive a special drink.
